PASTOR BENJAMIN & ISELA AGUIRRE
Senior Pastor & First Lady of Jubilee Church

Pastor Benjamin Aguirre

As a leader, Pastor Benjamin Aguirre is highly regarded for his boldness, innovation, and vision. As a church pastor, he is well respected for his passion for the cause of Christ and the local church, and for preaching messages that change mindsets and ministries. But at Jubilee Church, which he has led for ten years with his wife, Pastor Benjamin is most loved for being a pastor who loves God, people, and his local community.

First Lady Isela Aguirre

Sis. Isela Aguirre is passionate about seeing all people find Jesus as their Savior, gain a revelation of their value in Him, and rise up to make a stand for justice on the earth. She is beloved for her worship-singing and teaching ministries. As a wife and mother of three - Austin, Seth, and Luke - she is committed to empowering women, children, and families to connect and grow strong with a foundation of faith in Jesus Christ.

THE JUBILEE CHURCH STORY

For over 50 years, Jubilee Church has been a beacon of hope and service to the Modesto community. It has been a channel in which the streams of revival run through.

When our forefather, Bishop Julian Aguirre first came to Jubilee Church, it had only 35 members.

As an act of evangelism, He and his wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Aguirre would hand out flyers throughout Modesto, inviting all walks of life to visit the church. A man of prayer and fasting, Bishop Aguirre saw his church on the southside of Modesto grow rapidly - a great revival had started, where manifestations of God’s presence would be demonstrated during weekly services.

Jubilee Church started as a small, predominantly Spanish-speaking congregation whose members were immigrants and farmworkers. Today, the Jubilee has grown to be a thriving, multicultural church. After 35 years, Jubilee welcomes more than 400 people to our Sunday services, where we have prayed for and hosted countless city officials and community agencies. And during those 35 years, Jubilee Church has built a reputation as being a church “for the community,” as our annual Community Nights, serve and host over 2,000 people in the community each week in July.
